In three short weeks, we did a quick re-edit of a successful TV campaign that we had done for Anthem (a sister division) in Virginia and put a TV spot on the air immediately. We created and produced radio aimed directly at the Georgia market and got that on the air quickly. During all of this, we created a campaign called “Blue is Better” and created everything from logos to banners to posters to murals and wrapped vehicles, outdoor, t-shirts, MARTA signage, and (working with a guerilla marketing partner, Street Attack) we had teams of people on the streets of Georgia’s major cities talking up Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and handing out message emblazoned pens, Frisbees, t-shirts, key chains (you name it, we had it). The message: Blue is Better – and we want your business.
